As time goes on more and more supplements are available for bodybuilding and the question arises as to the value of these supplements.
Taking many supplements while continuing to put processed garbage into you body won’t do you any good. Good nutrition is the first thing that you should consider in a body building program. We need to address that before we get into a discussion about supplements.
If you do believe in using supplements only, in your body building program, you are not going to see that cut and ripped physique that you are pursuing. Both are required for best results.
If you follow the glossy ads and the tips you get from your buddies at the gym then you may find that those products are not the be-all and end-all of body building supplements. You need to select products based on what your muscle gain goals are. Be your own best advocate.
Once you have decided how cut or ripped you want to be, do some research, and then, and only then, decide which supplements to incorporate into your program.
Your mother probably told you that there is no substitute for hard work and body building is no different. No supplement in the world will do it for you alone.
Okay, now onto what the body actually needs to build muscle. You need to know about Amino Acids. Ever heard of them? They are really important if you want significant muscle gain. Amino acids are found in some of the foods you eat, but generally speaking, if you want muscle gain, you will have to up your Amino Acid intake.
Amino Acids can be taken as a direct supplement or you can get them from body building products like Whey protein. If you don’t like the taste of Whey then take the pills. Taking the supplement once or twice a day will get the results you want.
You’ve no doubt heard of Creatine. Creatine is what’s called a nitrogenous organic acid. It helps to supply energy to muscles so you can have a better workout and push yourself to lift a little more.
If you use you head first, eat right, drink plenty of water, and rest between workouts, and are sensible about taking the correct supplements you will get the results that you desire, and that’s what it is all about. This is the way to change your body and gain lean muscle.
