Change Your Rep Range
Like I mentioned at the top of the article, if you are still banging out tons of Sets with 10-15 reps in each, your too old school man!
You need to get with the program.
In order to maximize your Arm workouts, warm up with high volume sets of light weight performed at a moderate speed and then go heavy, go intense and go s-l-o-w.
Rep ranges of 6-8 are the order of the day performed in a very controlled manner if you want to build massive Biceps and Triceps.
Its What You Do In Between Sets That Counts
I picked this tip off of Arnie after watching Pumping Iron and it has served me well in my decade of serious Bodybuilding.
As soon as you have finished the final rep on each and ever Set you should immediately begin flexing and contracting your Arms.
This constant stretching and tensing puts more pressure on the muscle fibers and sends blood and vital nutrients rushing to the muscles. This one tip will both accelerate your overall growth and give you the absolute pump of your life.
Vary Your Workouts
If you’re seeing the same old results, chances are that your doing the same old thing week in and week out.
Muscles are extremely versatile and will quickly adapt to regular exercise.
This is why shocking them into new growth by varying your exercises is so important.
If you usually work your Arms on say Wednesday, shock them by training them on a Saturday.
Also, swap round the routine way that you go through your exercises, for example starting with Dumbbell Hammer Curls when usually you would begin with Barbell Preachers.
