Ab exercise machines help strengthen and develop abdominal muscles. Listed below are some of the ab exercise machines.

Exercise Balls

Exercise balls are very popular and are considered equivalent to having a mini gym. Different kinds of exercises for the upper and lower abdomen, balancing exercises and core strengthening exercises can be done with this handy product. The core selling point is that the ball is unstable. It forces the body to work harder as it must maintain balance and move accordingly, and thus making workouts more effective.

45 Degree Slant Board

It is used for working the oblique muscles. It is very helpful for doing side slanting exercises which strengthen and work the sides of the abdomen.

Seated Ab Exercise Machine

This is very popular in gyms and is used for strengthening the abdominal muscles. This ab exercise machine makes it easy to do all kinds of ab exercises when compared to using the floor. It is also a very good option for people with neck weakness and neck pain, as it relieves stress of the neck which is caused during normal exercises.

Rowing machines

It works the whole body and strengthens the core. It also helps in building abdominal strength.

It is found in most gyms, effective to tone and sculpt abdominal muscles. However, it has certain limitations, such as it does not help with coordination and stability and tends to move in a fixed path.

Ab Wheel

Also known as the power wheel, it is very cost effective. However the main limitation of the product is that excessive use can lead to back pain as the extra pressure is placed on the lower back muscles when working out.
