Creatine this, Ethyl Ester that, muscle gain creatinine, muscle mass water muscles! Confused? Yep! So are we! With so many creatine supplements about – how can you be sure the one that you are choosing to use is optimal? Is it really that good? What are the benefits? Read on to find out more
Free from Water Bloat
If you have taken Creatine Mono – then no doubt you may be familiar with that water bloat? It’s not nice and it just makes you feel fat and unhealthy. Reason for this is that creatine mono does not get taken in to the cells straight away and can take a few days to cross the cell membrane
CEE works differently. CEE is much more soluble than CM and is absorbed by muscles and cells much faster and more effectively.
One clear benefit to this is that there’s no water bloating. You’ll never go through a phase where you look like you injected extra water into your arms and belly.
Smaller Dosage, Save Money
With Creatine Monohydrate, you’ll usually need to go through what’s called a “loading phase.” This is where you’ve already taken the supplement, but you need to take it for a few days so the Creatine can make its way into your body’s cells.
With Creatine Ethyl Ester, that’s not necessary. Because it’s so much more soluble, the Creatine is absorbed into the blood stream and by the cells almost instantly. You no longer have to wait 5 days to start to see effects.
The dosage is also a lot smaller. Typically with Creatine Monohydrate you’d need to take about 20 grams a day. With Creatine Ethyl Ester, you only need to take about 5 grams a day.
Less Gas
CM is also infamous for causing gas and intestinal discomfort. Again, this is due to the Creatine not being absorbed fast enough.
With Creatine Ethyl Ester, this also doesn’t happen at all. The Creatine is absorbed much faster, causing less discomfort and less gas.
Which Version is Better?
Both versions will enhance muscle growth and give you more energy during your workouts. Creatine Ethyl Ester works with less gas, less water bloating, smaller dosage and no loading phase. So although the bodybuilding and supplemental effects are about the same, I’d recommend Ethyl Ester simply because it’s a much more positive experience to use in general.
