The correct diet should include all the necessary nutrients, including vitamins. Focus on intake of protein, as this makes up the bulk of muscles. Carbohydrates, and not fat, is essential for energy in the body and in the cells.

Exercising all body parts in one day. Regular builders will tell you that working out and training all parts of your body isn’t wise, and will only slow the effects. This is because the muscle groups don’t get a chance to recover since they are used (and abused) everyday. Target a muscle group and schedule one day for it. For example, if you wish to work on your pecs, do that on Mondays and Wednesdays. Perform other routines for other body parts on other parts of the week.

Swinging the weights when they can’t be lifted. Gravity will pull when something is swung. If you swing, there’s a tendency the weight would be pulled down and you will injure your bones by detaching them from your joints. It may cause a shoulder dislocation.
